The theme for MOPS 2013-2014 is “A BEAUTIFUL MESS–Embrace Your Story.” Grace MOPS meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month beginning in September (first meeting Thursday, September 19th) and ending in May. It is never too late to join! We also have fun summer events. If you are the mother of a preschooler (ages newborn to 5 years) and think you might be interested in joining , call Grace Lutheran Church 425-353-1852 for more information and the next meeting dates & times.
What exactly is MOPS? Mothers of Preschoolers is an international ministry–visit their website at www.MOPS.org to find out more! MOPS helps mothers be the best they can be. MOPS helps build strong mothers. MOPS helps mothers to grow strong Christian families.
MOPS provides loving child care for preschoolers while moms enjoy fellowship with other moms. Moms get to listen to interesting speakers with relevant topics, study curriculum, do crafts, and share great food. Children have games, Veggie Tales videos, stories, crafts and weather permitting outdoor play time on our playground equipment. Everyone has a very happy time
MOPS is here to come alongside you during this season of mothering and to provide you with support and resources to be a great mom because better moms make a better world.
We encourage you to attend our local MOPS group at Grace Lutheran Church. MOPS is for every mom–you do not have to be a church member. It is a great place where moms come together to learn, share and experience this important season of mothering in a caring and accepting atmosphere. And at Grace Lutheran Church we work hard to make MOPS a fun, nurturing and welcoming place. Its a great place to worship with us every Sunday. Grace is a place where people matter and people count!
MOPS has a fee for international membership of $23.95 and Grace Lutheran fee of $36.05 for a total cost of $60 per year. Scholarships are available on a limited basis. As part of the fee you will receive a one year subscription to MomSense Magazine, weekly Mom EMail messages, and other great benefits. If you have any questions, we would be happy to help you. Kinga Wojtysiak and Val Schnackenberg are our MOPS Coordinators and Michelle Purcell is in charge of the MOPPETS. You can contact them at 425-353-1852
