YOUTH EVENT!

In January our youth slapped on their skates and hit the rink for a night of ice skating at the Comcast Ice Arena. Funny thing about ice… when you slap on ice skates, the ice seems to find a way to slap back. After a few tumbles and lots of wobbles everyone got the hang of it and took off. Our first-timer Andrew Lehmann amazed us all with how quickly he picked it up and he flew around the rink. The kids were all amazed at Michelle’s double flip (when she “flips” her hands in the air twice from the viewing area and says, “Hey, you fell!”). The fact that the ice was inside rather than outside made the evening much more for fun for everyone… especially the adults! A big thanks to Tammy Harris for helping out.

Our next event will be Saturday, February 25^th. We will be taking the youth sledding at Lake Wenatchee State Park. The bus will leave the church at 9:00 am and return at 3:00 pm. Don’t be late. You won’t want to miss all the fun in the snow! Bring your sleds and warm clothes. Children younger than 7th grade need to bring a parent too.
